FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need to replace my telematics provider?
No. Emris sits on top of the telematics you already have. Start by uploading the monthly trip reports you already download from your provider's portal; connect the provider's API when you want continuous sync and live vehicle positions. Nothing is installed in the vehicles and nothing is sent to them.
Which telematics providers work with Emris?
Any provider that exports a trip report. We have ready-made importers and API connectors for the most common providers, and we add new report formats on request, usually within days. See the integrations page.
What can I ask?
Anything that can be answered from your trips, your travel expenses and your schedules, together. Typical questions: what time each driver gets home on average, which vehicles are still out right now, who was on leave last week and which jobs were affected, which card expenses have no matching trip, which vehicles consume the most per 100 km, and what a repair quote or address list you uploaded says.
Where does the data go, and who can see it?
Emris is hosted in the EU or the US, your choice. Access is read-only from your systems, each customer's data is isolated from every other customer's, sign-in is passwordless (a one-time emailed link), and your data is never used to train models. The list of sub-processors is available in the product and on request.
How do the calendar connections work?
An administrator connects your Outlook (Microsoft 365) or Google Workspace calendars once, read-only, and maps each shared calendar to a technician. Emris then syncs planned jobs and leave every 15 minutes. Emris is a Microsoft partner. If you don't keep planning in a calendar, a planning export works just as well.
How long does setup take?
An afternoon. Upload last month's report and ask your first question the same day. The API connection, the calendars and the expense export can be added later without touching the history.
Does it work for a small fleet?
Yes. Smaller fleets often benefit most, because one person is wearing five hats and has no analyst to hand a spreadsheet to. There is no minimum fleet size.
Which languages does Emris speak?
The interface is available in English and French. Questions can be asked in any language the underlying model understands, which covers every major European language and many more, and Emris answers in the language you wrote in.
Can I export or share what I find?
Yes. Any chat answer can be pinned to the dashboard for the whole team. The vehicle grid, the checks and the scorecards export to Excel. Every conversation is saved and can be picked up again or branched.
Is there a trial? What does it cost?
We run short pilots on your own data rather than generic trials: send us one month of your reports and we'll show you Emris answering your questions on it. Pricing depends on fleet size and data sources. Get in touch and we'll give you a number.
