Can I use AI with my Geotab data?

Yes. Emris is an AI assistant for Geotab: upload the Geotab reports you already download, or connect the MyGeotab API, then ask questions in plain words about trips, drivers, vehicles, fuel, schedules and expenses. Answers come with the rows they were computed from.

Do I need the MyGeotab API to get started?

No. Most fleets start by uploading last month's Geotab report and asking their first question the same afternoon. The API connection adds continuous sync and live vehicle positions, and can be switched on later without touching the history.

Does Geotab have AI built in, and do I still need it?

Geotab gives you its own reports and dashboards, and you keep using them. Emris is an independent AI layer that reads that data alongside your calendars and card expenses, so one question can span all three. It does not replace your Geotab contract, hardware or portal.
